Of course this pops up after I commit to the Santa Rosa Party! Oh well, maybe next time."As to the species of exercise, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise, and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun, therefore, be the constant companion to your walks." -- Thomas JeffersonComment

Well, I'll be going to the Bay Area BP on the 24th AND would love to attend a BP in Sacramento...Originally posted by BannedinBritainThe only dumb question is the one you don't ask...and get arrested for later.Comment

Perhaps even later in the year...Originally posted by DREADNOUGHT78No date set just checking to see if anyone had interest. Plus I would rather set it up during a month that no other Nor-Cal build parties were planned so maybe some of the other builders might join in!Originally posted by BannedinBritainThe only dumb question is the one you don't ask...and get arrested for later.Comment

I'd go just out of curiosity.Don't let the name fool you...Comment

I would think about going if there isn't a NorCal BP during that month and if I am not in SoCal for a BP.
I'm not building AKs anymore right now so I would be there just to hang out and help.Originally posted by 69Mach1The virgin requires more work (don't they all

I'm interested. I'll be building a PSL. I still don't have a receiver, so I need to get that. I don't have the kit in my hands yet, so I don't know what else I need (ie pins, parts, bullet button, etc). The blank receiver seems to be the way I want to go ('cause I like getting my hands dirty), but maybe I should just not bother and spend the ~$200 for a 100% receiver (item+shipping+transfer). Any opinions or suggestions?Comment

I would like to make it if schedules mesh. I've got a pair of Romys to build and perhaps convert a pair of saigas.
Do you have a parkerizing tank?* Freedom is the human right to live your life however you damn well please, so long as you don't interfere with another's right to do the same.

I have no experience with Aks. I don't know S$## about building one or where to start....but I wan't to get into it.
Would this build party be open to people with out any knowledge whatsoever...or experience for that matter building Aks?
My friend knows a lot more than me about Aks, but has never built one, he has only converted saigas. I think he would be in too though.Comment
