    Taurus PT92F

Brand new! Went to range last weekend.
When firing it almost completely bottoms out, by that I mean. When I take up the slack on single action the trigger is just about to the rear and it hits the back when firing. I only fired 20 rds. I know this is not right I have fired an exact model before. I know it is warrantied, but what should I expect from there repair place can I fix this myself or do you think I have to send it in?
    Thank you for your time,

Does the double action pull start too far back as well?

        yes
I took the slide off and pulled the hammer back and pulled trigger and it fires at the very back of the trigger pull, so I'm thinking no problem with firing pin.
