Crooked, or too far forward? You can try a pair of pliers, and see if it will budge, but I'm not sure how that can come out crooked. If its a little far forward, take a file to it, or carefully drill it out, and install another one. Post pics, sounds like a somewhat common issue of it being a tad too forward.sigpic

Its from AK-builder, Hollow with a rivet through it, Ill try filing though, If that doesnt work I try to remove it and install another oneLast edited by AK4me; 06-02-2010, 5:53 PM.sigpicComment

It doesn't matter if the mag hits as long as you can insert it. But alittle clearance is better. Just go alittle at a time and test fit the mag. If you see the rivet line, Replace it with a solid. But spreading the reciever is a B*tch. Best done while bending the flat.
Good luck and let us know how it goes.
I should add, If you have to round the bottom of the CS for the mag to clear, That's OK. It's better then exposing the rivet. Also, If you have to install a new one, You will need to file it too unless you fill the holes and drill new ones further back. File a little off the new support and install the flat part at an angle with the bottom away from the mag. Test before and during riveting.Last edited by diginit; 06-02-2010, 6:15 PM.Comment
