    Glock trigger takeup

Is there any way to reduce the amount of takeup in a Glock trigger, be it smithing or aftermarket parts? What I would like is for the trigger, when cocked, to start at a more rearward position than stock. In other words, like the trigger in the first picture as opposed to the 2nd.

The take-up in the glock trigger is where the firing pin safety is de-activated.
You can get rid of some of it, but the more you remove, the more likely the firing pin safety stops working.

The biggest improvement on a glock trigger is removing the overtravel as that drastically shortens your shot-to-shot trigger movement.

I can do this for you if you are local.

Not much you can do for the "starting" position of the Glock trigger due to the "safety tab" located in the trigger. As said above have the over travel shortened and practice proper "trigger reset" between shots to shorten the perceived trigger movement. (which is already very short compared to other striker fired pistols.)
