    Installing Muzzlebrake

How difficult is it to install and what tools do I need? I purchased a new brake and want to install it myself.

The difficulty depends on what gun you are talking about.

It's on my Stag 2h upper. I purchased a muzzlebrake from Rainier Arms.

Is your old one pinned? If not just grab a wrench, unscrew it and put a new crushwasher on then put the muzzle device on.

If the old one is pinned your probably going to have to take it to a gunsmith.

No, it's not pinned. Sounds easy enough. I'm gonna give it a go.

You can put it on with a crescent wrench. Put some electrical tape where the wrench will touch the steel to keep from marking it up. The crush washer is supposed to fight ya a little bit, so you'll really have to crank it for the last 1/4 turn to get it centered.
