    Need some HK Flat data?

Does anyone know if the size of an HK MP5 (or clone) flat in 9mm or .40 S&W would be different to the point of needing a different jig. I have seen many different sites of people telling how to bend them with a 3/4 inch round bar and they don't say what caliber receiver they were building. Do you need a thicker bar or different jig for .40?

    Thanks so much.

The flats are different, but I think the same jig will work.

As far as I know, all the sheetmetal HK receivers have the same profile when viewed from the front or back. Stocks are interchangeable on most if not all HK roller locking rifles/sub guns, so the bends should be the same from 9mm all the way up to 7.62mm NATO.

Okay that would make sense. I guess the difference in the two is the magwell size then? Or something that is not relevant to the bending of it.
