Parts count

A AK mag body, follower, and bottom plate count as 3 foreign made parts.
If I have 4 foreign mags, does this make it 12 parts? Or only 3?
I can only use one at a time, right?

Only those installed in the gun at any given time.

It's not a matter of how many US parts, it's a matter of a maximum of 10 imported parts.
You can reach this count either through replacing the imported parts, or by removing them.
The Saiga 7.62 has only 14 counted parts because it does not have a muzzle brake or pistol grip.

It's primarily for that reason that my preference is to go with a domestic piston, muzzle brake, FCG, and pistol grip. That reduces the imported parts count to 10 whether you are running domestic or imported magazines.
