    Canted sight

I'm not sure how these pictures will come out. I have an Interport/Delta UT/Portugal with canted sights. I would appreciate any help on getting it to shoot straight.

I tried to take some more pictures and PMed them to you. I don't think they were much better, old camera. The charging tube seems to be centered on the triple frame. It is shooting about 6 inches to the left. I can adjust some of it out with the rear sight but not much. Would heating the triple tree and trying to adjust be an option? It's a very nice gun, can't believe it shoots so inaccurately. If there are any other pictures you want me to take please let me know. Thanks - John

        Pics

They're not very clear but maybe you can get an idea? It's not like the pic in your build. I bought the gun from Special Weapons, Todd Bailey, who doesn't have a very good reputation. Thanks - John

            Fareed:
I'm trying to contact my friend that does the smith work on ARs and such.
I'll tell him what you have said. If he doesn't want to do the work looks like either a scope or Kentucky windage. I don't use the camera very much, its a 4.0 mp probably 5+ years old. Thanks for your help on trying to get my rifle to shoot straight. Good luck on your future work. John

              Goodbye G3

I just returned from my friends shop. He said the sight work is possible but would take a lot of man hours to do and would be expensive. If it would take a lot of work for him with all his machines and presses it would be next to impossible for me to do. So - Goodbye G3. You know as much about the rifle as anyone. What would be a fair price to ask? I've read that on some HK boards they are asking $1K. Would taking $200 off be a fair deal? I would like to thank you very much for your help. I haven't been to the Bay Area in many years and if it was not so far from Texas I'd attend your build party.
Good luck and God's speed. John
