    AK mag release question

Could one remove the material that you depress to release mag,so as to not be able to manipulate by hand.grind down until flush with trigger gaurd
Thus you would be forced to use a tool!
    Just a thought.

Back in the olden days (3 years ago), before there was such a thing as a bullet button available for the Romanian PSL sniper rifles, some vendors were importing the PSLs into CA with the finger tab on the mag release ground down so you had to use a screw driver or something similar to release the magazine. The design of the PSL mag release is almost the same as the AK. So yes, you could do it that way and stay legal.

Life can make you do many things, even kiss a man with a runny nose.

You could do that, but this isn"t 2007. We have bullet button magazine locks now. Why go through the trouble? You would also be mutilating that poor Kalashnikov.

What if you move, or take trip to s state with more relaxed laws, or if by some crazy twist of fate us Californians actually get the same rights as the inhabitants of most other states.

Magazine release latch mechanism parts are easy to obtain. It's putting it together that's a pain in the butt.

                I detest AK RADD locks..

especially when compared to Solartactical which I love.
