Dinzag.com will have what you need. They have a bullet guide kit for about $30 that includes the guide, the drill bit, and the tap. Go slow, use a lot of cutting oil. Good luck.

Just did a Saiga 223 using the dinzag kit. The cobalt drill bit made it easy even with a hand-drill.

The one I worked on has a narrower flat trunion which require some grinding of the bullet guide to fit nicely.

And go real slow with the tap.

Use plenty of cutting fluid like WD-40, Break Free, Kroil etc. to clear the chips. Advance 1/4 turn clockwise then back off 1/3 turn, spray to clear then advance until you feel slight resistance + 1/4 turn then back off 1/3 turn, repeat until the straight, non tapered portion of the tap clears the bottom of the hole. If you feel the tap begin to flex when applying torque - stop. back the tap out a bit, clear chips w/ fluid and repeat original cycle. You really don't want to break off the tap in the hole.

It's WAY easier/less complicated than it sounds.

            Good Luck!

            Jeff
