Just the buffer. No need to replace the spring.

You'll also need to replace the hammer unless it's an Olympic conversion, or a Colt style with a ramped bolt. If it's a standard Colt style you'll need to replace the hammer.

I just bought the CMMG dedicated 9mm lower. A little bit more than a standard lower, but I still saved the $150 of a mag block. I'm very happy with this lower.

Here is a link to my 9mm build. I used a Cproducts block and was able to get it to work with a little modification.

I don't have a lot of rounds through it, probably 500 or so, but it has been 100% reliable.
