I picked up my Series 1 Kimber Classic Gold Match from Will O'hara this morning and the work he's done is outstanding!
I did very minor things to it.
*removed FLGR and replace with standard plug (non checkered)
*17lbs wolfe recoil spring
*installed short trigger (Thanks to my short finger)
*installed Heine slantpro (plain black rear .140 notch & tritium front)
*Flat serrated MSH with recessed lanyard loop
*Ed Brown ambi safety blended
*Barrel recrowned and cut flush to bushing
*Gunner grip with flat head screws
*reability package (polish throat, feed ramp, adjust extractor tension & etc.)
I guess that's about it. And the gold match's original finish is high polished blue & it looks very purty
Will was a very nice gentleman and easy person to talk to. His work was seamless!
