Marlin 39A troubles

Okay, I've got a model 39 that Failed to cycle completely (opened action, ejected round, new round failed to chamber, and somehow ended up getting caught up in action. round came out in an L shape, but i got it out. but now the action wont close completely. And of course you cannot disassemble the 39A without the action closed completely right? I've tried splitting the halve and its just not happening.

I think you should call Marlin and see if any of their techs have advice.
Depending on how old, they may or may not be able to help.
