Hey paratroop, are there stores like home depot's in afghan? I always imagined that place as only desert with a few tents propped up

like home depot, no. mostly little shops, bazaars and what not. in kabul there are more bigger stores its a pretty big city. actually some places are like you imagine. where im at there are some trees, and it actually looks like the hills of southern california. right now alot of afghanistan is covered in snow, but here its about 70 degrees outside.

if i have the time, im going to tackle the scope mount this week. ill take pictures and tell you all how i did it. once again, thanks for all the help. now i want to build an ak when i come home, thanks for that too.
