how difficult is it to install scope mounts on a mauser 24/47?, tips on where to get the mount?, its a 90dollar gun I got from big5 a few years back,thanks for any advice.

The action probably has to be drilled which necessitates a trip to a gunsmith if you don't have a milling machine or a forester sight drilling fixture.
Midway or Brownells will have the mounts.Randall Rausch
