    Everything was going Well until......

Not sure if anyone else has done something like this...? I had an AR-15 Project on the CNC and was just finishing up a few last steps like Fire Control area and Magwell:

I stopped the machine, set table back to Zero and went to El Burro for dinner. Came back and started where I left off, but didn't notice Zero wasn't where I thought it would be. Didn't notice anything wrong till it was too late. UGH.....:

Anyone else get lazy mans syndrome (LMS) and not re-check Zero???

That sucks. Hopefully you didn't pay to much for that lower forging.

Wasn't a Forging, just a Block of 6061 Aluminum. The time it took to get to this point though, hurts my feelings. This was the first time I tried doing a Magwell on the CNC, on the Manual mill it takes longer yet you don't do things like this!

I feel your pain. Have an Xmas adult beverage, it will take a little of the sting. BTW I have a little collection of AK receivers that I'm going to make into a lamp!

Lamp???? That sounds like a good idea! See if we can sell them on Ebay.
