reciver flats

I'm looking to put together a rifle from a flat reciver or prebent if I can locate one..I've heard of build partys from a kid who was with cal guns at a local show and I was curious if any were going on.. also any one know where to get a good flat or pre bent? I'm also in sac/fair oaks thanks

There is one in Modesto next month. I'm not sure if the date has been set yet but I think it will be in the second half of the month. There are a couple of threads on it in this forum.

Welcome to Calguns, you're off to a good start. If it gets to a point where all the details of building a rifle seem overwhelming don't give up no matter what! I'm pretty sure most of us that build rifles will admit we felt that way at some point.
