    AR-15 Barrel Nut Removal Help

    Hey troopers,
I have a stubborn barrel nut that I cant get off. Looking for help in the OC/LA county area. Need to pop off the old nut and torque the new free float nut in.

For a 9mm build, so we don't have to worry about the gas tube.

Freeze barrel, then heat the nut.

You could just try heating the nut first.

There was no need for that. The only thing that was needed was the proper tools. YHM Forearm installed without a hitch.
