AR trigger pull

Have any of you any first hand knowledge of this. I heard if you cut a coil out of the disconnector spring that the trigger pull is improved. There would be less tension and lessen the trigger pull.
Anybody have first hand knowledge?
My last lower build had a horrble trigger

Do NOT cut the DISCONNECTOR spring!!! This could lead to poor hammer / disconnector retention and lead to slam firing. Slam firing is both dangerous and illegal.

The 15 minute practical trigger job is 100% safe and will work fine. I've done this mod and can vouch for it.

Whatever you do, DON'T mess with the disconnector spring!

15 minute trigger job was my motivation to learn how to do triggers on all my guns. Now everything I own is nice and polished and modified. I love it. And my AR has a nice crisp trigger. It's no competition setup, but it's friendly enough. I also cut half the hammer spur off.

thanks a million for sending that! This is the best site I have found for all things about shooting. I will use this method and won't mess with the disconnect spring.
