    Glock 22 barell in a Glock 31

Wasn't sure if this is the right forum, but to my question.....

Is it true or possible and ok on the gun, if you use a G31, with a G22 barrel and shoot .40 S&W??

I saw someone talking about it and was wondering if it was true??

    Yes.
You can replace the Glock 31 barrel with the barrel from a Glock 22 and shoot .40S&W. You can even load .40S&W rounds into a Glock 31 magazine.

Same is true with the Glock 32 & 23 and the Glock 33 & 27.

It's because the .40S&W and .357SIG Glocks share the same frame and slide, they are just marked differently.

The 9x19mm and .45GAP Glocks also use the same frame, but the slides are different.
So, to caliber convert to one of those calibers would require additional things, then just dropping in a stock barrel.
