AR Selector Switch loose

Like the thread says guys, my switch is a little too loose for my taste. Is this just a spring issue or should i be getting a new switch as well? Does anyone have an extra spring/switch I could purchase from if this is the problem? Thanks fellas!

Should be a detent with that spring too. Are you missing that by chance? I had to work my detent a bit when I installed it, it kinda got bound up in the hole.

I might have an extra detent laying around. had to buy extras just in case. ill check when I get home (out of town right now). let you know by Friday night. If I do, I'll ship it to you free of charge!

sorry doc 1, looked around a few times but can not locate the detents. i will notify you if i find them.

I got a chance to play with the AR and it was the detent. The one in the rifle was a bit rounded. My buddy at the office came through with a spare detent, I didn't even know he was a shooter! Thank you very much Mason, for offering your help.
