    First Stag lower Build

    I built my first stag lower this week took the gun out to shoot the next day it shot fine ejected spent cartridge fine but when I pulled the trigger again it did not fire I would cycle the bolt manually and it would fire but it is not firing each shot consecutively any help would be appreciated.

    did you install ur LPK inproperly?

      Check this. In particular, make sure you put the trigger springs in the right way. Also, do you have a gas tube installed correctly in the upper?

      If that doesn't fix it, try this: separate upper and lower, remove ammo. Then, put a wad of tissue against the front wall of the trigger parts well (where the hammer would hit if you were to pull the trigger). Take off safety, pull trigger, watch if hammer hits tissue. NEVER let the hammer drop directly onto the receiver. If this doesn't fix, move on to next step.

      Check that your barrel extension is flush with the receiver, and if not (you see a bit of space between the two little rampy-looking things right before the chamber and the rest of the receiver) then get your upper re-barreled. If the extension IS flush, get the upper headspaced to see if there are issues there.

      Report back and tell us which step fixed it!
