XD 45 Tactical options

I know that there is a kit available that will make a Springfield XD 45 ACP support 9mm rounds with a replacement barrel, magazine, etc.. Is there such a kit to make a Springfield XD45 GAP support 45 ACP rounds?

I originally posted this question because I could find the 45GAP models easily but not the ACP ones. I have since learned how to find them and get them here legally. The concept below works for all XD models that are on-roster.

I am interested in purchasing a Springfield model XD9621 if it is in stock. This model comes in two flavors:

XD9621SP06 - This model comes with 10-round magazines.
XD9621HCSP06 - This model comes with 13-round magazines.

I have checked with my local FFL and learned the following:

- The California Roster specifies that the XD9621 model is permitted in California with 10-round magazines.
- A dealer may ship a model XD9621HCSP06 without the magazines and it is still considered legal because the MODEL number is permitted.
- The BUYER must have a 10-round (or less) magazine to demonstrate safe handling of the weapon to the FFL before he can take possession of the weapon. This is the responsibility of the BUYER, not the SELLER or the FFL.

The HC versions are much more available on Internet sellers across the country. Getting the seller to ship to CA is the hard part. Many fear that if the buyer has a snag that he would leave negative feedback for the seller even though we all know that local legal compliance is the BUYER's responsibility.
