Just fine if you want to use a fixed stock instead of the folder- They make a flat for that though too.

Glad to know that. I got some kits from the TGI group buy, they look like folders to me:

I searched for "AMD-65 folder flat" and can't seem to find a place that has reference to them or sells them. Is there a special name for them?

That is the only AMD flat I know of, unless you want to go the Nodak spud route.

Thanks G17, 32 bucks it is. Not to bad considering that the kit, flat and rivets will cost under 300 shipped to have a nice AMD-65.

I don't see why not. They are exactly like a regular fixed stock AK flat with the exception of the extra cut out at the rear of the receiver.

A regular bending jig will work just fine on an AMD flat.
