I asked this question on that site but no response. I noticed someone mentioned buying a underfolder stock and trunnion. U mean if I got those 2 parts I could build this ak74 into a underfolder?

As long as the rifle is at least 30 inches long when folded per California regs.

Or you could pin the folder open so it no longer closes.

BTW, my kit was sent out today & my CC was charged $250.00! Delivery expected Oct 1.

I ordered on Wednesday. I was number 205. The shopping cart & confirmation email will show the original price of $349.99 plus shipping. When they ship they will charge your CC the $250.00 (just don't forget to put the AK Forum info in the comments section when you order).

I also asked them in comments section if they will ship any mags (disassembled) and they said in an email:

We have considered this "mag rebuild kit" option in the past but have chosen not to "toe the line" THanks

Good deal. I would add a scope rail to make them a bit "better" builds.
I kinda like the non folders more now. I want a Russian laminate and Bulgarian blonde. Plum looks good to.

The Russians made a under folder 74. It was replicated by a member at TAF (custom trigger guard, gas block , front sight, and muzzle brake).. I've seen it in a Chechnya war pic once or twice. Very rare version. I'm thinking about a build like it myself.

Still waiting for my confirmation. Ive never heard of this forum. If i can sign-up to a new forum and get a good deal on a parts kit, sweet, that doesnt mean im not gonna post on that forum. Its great to have a AK forum only, since were all gonna build one, or two. Ive never had to wait 3 days for a forum sign-up. Do you think the big honcho at tha AK forum is giving us a hard time? I hope not. Its a win-win for all of us.

Pretty damn good deal considering kits were selling for $450 by themselves a week ago.
