    Barrel extension problem

Anyone able to spot the problem? The pin isn't flush with the lip of the extension meaning I can't actually attach it to an upper. Received it this way from a high end manufacturer. I'm in the process of contacting them but it's the weekend so I won't get a reply till Monday at the earliest. Are there any options on my end to try or should I just go through the RMA process?

If it's new, I wouldn't mess with it.

Try tapping it down into the extension.
If it's bottomed out already, you have two options:
      Grind it down flush.
Send it back to Noveske so they can grind it down flush.

I wacked it a few times, it was flattening my cheap punches. I just took some files to it and ground it down 1mm or so. Oh well.
