    Ak Build, parts call list

So im thinking bout buildin an AK74 with a Yugo front!
    Heres the build parts!

    Yugo Front

    AK Tantel

Anyone know where i can find a cheaper Tantel?
Also I need a side folding krinkov stock(skeleton)!

    Anything else im missing?
I wana know if this would work out good cause if not then i wont buy the yugo front and just save for the tantel and krink stock!

You want to do what? Build a 5.45x39 caliber AK 74 clone with a 5.45 Tantal parts kit, and a milled 7.62x39 Yugo barrel? Many things are not readily compatible, starting with the calibers. Besides, with that Tantal kit, which is the cheapest I've seen right now, you already have the original 5.45 Tantal barrel. Why replace it?

Different calibers have different bolts and ejectors. A milled Yugo (or any other milled AK) doesn't have a trunnion. Again, why not go with the Tantal 5.45x39 barrel?

So you want a milled receiver 7.62x39 triangle sidefolder? Not gonna happen without extensive modification to the milled receiver.

Just get a 7.62x39 parts kit, a khyber pass receiver from NDS and a triangle sidefolding stock from DPH arms.

Oh by the way that Tantal on Co Gun Sales is CHEAP, but it's also out of stock. Add it to your cart, you'll get an out of stock notification.

So attempting to put a Yugo front(of course minus the barrel) on a Ak74 is a FUBAR plan

It sounds like you should get a good kit as a base. The if you want a Granade sight think about adding it to what you have. How are your welding skills? You have access to a shop with some machine tools?

I'm doing some experiments but i'm starting with a good base.

Pretty much. Why are you wanting the front end on a '74? Any special reason?

Itll be my first build, and I dont know i just really like YUGO fronts
And if i just build a 74 without it, it just wont look great to me.
Its like going to a pet store i guess and settling with something rather then getting what you really wanted, hope that makes sense!

So you don't care about caliber? Just as long as it looks like a Yugo? Then how about getting an M70 AB1 7.62x39 "slab side" stamped AK parts kit. The one without the trunnion bulge and get the NDS-1KP receiver to mate up with the Krinkov skeleton side folding stock.
