Need help to I.D. this spring,...

Okay, I found this spring on the floor next to my chair. I don't know where it came from and I don't recognize it. I have taken apart a couple guns here in this chair recently. They are guns that I am not that familar with and don't handle alot so would not recognize the spring coming from any one particular.
I am hoping that if I post it here, someone may know what it is or where it might have come from...
    Guns taken apart recently,
    Ruger MKII
    P-38
Japanese pistol WWII (type 94?) I think that is it.
It looks like it might be a firing pin spring to me, but not sure what it would be out of... I just thought that someone who sees a lot of these would recognize it...
Doesn't hurt to ask... Just leaves one self vulnerable to the few Prima Dona~s that I always seem to attrach...

So if anyone reads this post and thinks what it may be from even if it is NOT from one of the pieces above, please speak...
I have a Cedar Chest in here and have been keeping a lot of 'gun stuff' in there. It is a good posibility that it hitched a ride out of that and fell where it was found but I still don't recognize it...
Thanks for any help id'ing this...

It doesn't resemble any spring in a Ruger Mk II. Too big for the rebound spring or the plunger spring.

It looks very similar to the spring that puts tension on the hammer of the P38. With the pistol unloaded, cock the hammer and see if there is any resistance....or just pull the grips for a quick peek. It is located behind the magwell. It is #43 in this image.
Do not try and bend the spoon, that's impossible. Instead, only try to realize the truth...there is no spoon.
