    %80 jig help

I sold my buddy my jig that i bought off justin's site a while ago. He was doing his 3rd 80% since then and the vice slipped while drilling and the take down pin walked. I'm in the process of completing my %80 but I have no idea how to fix this jig. I was thinking of sending it to a machine shop with blue prints of an ar lower to overbore the jig holes and press steel sleeves in to fix it. Besides that I have no idea what else to do. Any advice guys? Anything besides "buy a new jig" would be helpful.

Drill bushings seem to be a good plan, you should have the machine shop do both the 1/4" takedown pins since those see the most abuse.

does anyone have a "hook up" to a cnc shop that can bore and press in the correct sized sleeves for the take down pin holes on the jig? I'm not looking for free or anything just cheaper.

does anyone in norcal have a jig i can borrow? It seems like it would be cheaper if I just tig welded the holes shut and re drilled the take down holes

What would a rough cost be to do a complete update to one of Justin's jigs? I'm curious as to the cost benefit analysis of having a jig that can be used many, many times vs simply buying another jig after the holes become worn.

                      I would also be interested.

Probably looking at about $200 with the bushings to do every hole in the drilling side of the jig.

if you do more then 4 80% the extra 200 to sleeve justin's jig would be well worth it. Im debating on getting a new jig or sending the current one to ar15barrels. Its kind of a waste to send the jig just to do 2 holes. but at the same time it'll be sleeved for the 2 i need.

I just bought a new jig or I'd have my old one re-done, it's getting a little sloppy.
I plan to use transfer punches on the new jig, remove the lower and then drill = no wear.
