I recently had to pin the folding stock on a SKS, and in my stock, right below the button you push on to allow the stock to fold was a small hole through it, through which you stick a small pin thus not allowing the button to be pushed fully down and allow the stock to fold.

Not sure if your gun is similar or not, but just thought it might help. Best of luck to you.

On the Sig 556 you can do the following:

There is a large pin you can punch out that will allow you to remove the folding stock section. Then there is a small pin that holds the button in place.

If you punch out the small pin, there is a spring inside of the button. If you put a short section of metal or plastic rod inside of the spring and re-assemble the button with the small pin, it won't be able to be pressed.

Then you can hook it onto the receiver and insert the big pin again.

You now have a fixed stock unable to be folded without disassembly using tools, and you have made no changes to the gun or removed any parts.
