I have a friends MDRX that the bolt is stuck.
He gave it to me to see if I can fix it.
I?ve seen mixed reviews on this rifle, don?t want to argue one way or the other?
It has the 308 barrel on and he said he doesn?t remember what happened.
It worked flawlessly with the 556 barrel.
The charging handle is forward and will not pull back.
I tried to remove the barrel by loosening the set screws and turning the cam bolt to allow for the barrel to slide forward.
It seems that the bolt is stuck somehow in the barrel chamber.
The barrel will move about 1/8 inches and can see the the bolt moving the same amount.
Options?
Brute force?
I?m not a gunsmith or play one on the TV?
