    HELP! Trying to find a gunsmith who can cut a dovetail in a S7W front sight.

    Hello all. I'm trying to find a gunsmith that can cut a dovetail on the front sight ramp in order to install a red ramp insert on a S&W Model 19-1. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Calgunners!

          get some fluorescent enamel model paint instead.

          carefully done it won't look any worse than the red plastic insert.

          and it won't hurt the value of the gun either.
