Mag not Dropping?

Have a S&W SD9VE. I clean it after every time at the range, and this last cleaning an issue came up. My mags release but only drop down about 1/2 an inch, and I am not sure why. Anyone have some thoughts on this. It is all my mags, so the problem is not just one of them.

Have you wiped down the inside of the mag well?

If all the mags are handing up, how?s the mag release without a mag inserted?
