Buckmark ejecting magazine when slide closes

Hello brain trust. I bought a buckmark and took it to the range. After about 20 rounds, each time I fired the gun the magazine would eject. I switched it out using 5 other mags and the problem continued with each magazine. Took it home and locked the slide back. When I released the slide and allowed it to close on its own, same problem existed. Magazine would drop out.

Forgive me if this issue has been discussed. Any ideas?

What did the mag release look like when you removed it and function checked it?

Everything was in place as far as I could tell. The gun is brand new.

The grips are probably loose, so the mag release spring probably popped out of it's slot on the frame.
Lay the pistol on it's left side, remove the grip screws and right grip. The mag release spring is shaped like a T with rounded edges. It fits into a slot on the frame and makes contact with the mag release button.

I did bend the spring a little so it would apply more pressure onto the mage release, ensured it was in place and tightened the grip. Cleaned and lubed the gun. It worked flawlessly at the range. Thank you for directing me to that part.

This seems to be a pretty common thing with the buckmark. Shame it is not dealt with at the factory. I called and spoke to tech support at Browning. He told me to send the gun back in and that they don't give gunshimthing advice over the phone. I understand that. This is why this forum is helpful.
