    WS (WEBLEY SCOTT) 612P20T 12 gauge DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY

Hey gentlemen- I have a customer who is having issues with this shotgun and needs me to diagnose/fix the problem(s). The trouble is that not only am I intimately UN-familiar with this piece, the owner doesn?t have the owner?s manual, and I can not find anything online about this weapon except for ONE video, and it doesn?t have anything technical on it beyond how to rack the slide. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It's a $300 dollar shotgun. I don't know what they expect you to do.

Here's the closest thing I could find. looks like it's a Turkish made bargain gun.

Access and download instruction manuals for CZ firearms, including P-10, Shadow 2, and more.

He?s not expecting anything, he just wants it fixed so that it goes BANG. That PDF is close, but the piece I?m working with has a self-resetting (for lack of better description) spring-loaded slide mechanism so that you only need to pull back to eject the spent shell, and the forward (loading) travel is under heavy spring assistance. Never seen anything like it. Thanks for the help!

I get quite a few Turkish made shotguns of all flavors (Autos, pumps, doubles, etc) for various repairs from a local gun shop. More often than I like I tell the shop owner to guide their customer over to the new gun rack and sell them something that
1 has a track record of quality and reliability
2 the company is still in business and provides parts and support.
More often than not neither the customer or myself are happy at the end of the transaction.

There is a reason why they are cheaper.
There is also a reason the distributors are not still distributing.

You might try Legacy Sports in Reno, they are the last known importer of these.

What i'm getting at is it's a $300 gun and not worth anyone effort at $100 per hour to screw with. By the time you figure it out, find parts if needed, and get it working he will be into you for the cost of a new CZ at minimum.
These are the customers that get mad at me when I tell them "No i will not fix your pile of junk gun. I leave the pile of junk out of the conversation but I advise them it's a 2 hour minimum to do anything in the shop. and that's $200

As soon as I confirmed that it was a broken firing pin, had trusted sources confirm that I wouldn?t be finding any parts anytime soon, and relayed that information to my customer, all was well. I have never had a customer be mad for any reason. I guess I am lucky.

Well down here there are quite a few cheap arses that expect you to fix or modify something for $20. Which is why I price my work the way I do. The people that know me deal direct. Others that would be concerned with the shop minimum do not bother to contact me. Saves us both the waste of time. If I was basing my life and livelihood on gun work maybe my attitude would be different. it might also be different if a whole bunch of bad apples hadn't ruined it for everyone else.

Well good to see it's something simple. Firing pin can be spun in in a few minutes time. thats if you have a lathe.
