S&W Mod 6906 - Red Dot install question

Anyone have experience mounting a red dot RMR on a S&W Mod 6906? I'm thinking about having the slide milled, but I'm open to using a dovetail mount as well.

Suggestions on which RMR to use. I'm leaning towards a Holosun 507K or C.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
