    FTE fully GSG 1911 .22

Have had about 10k round thru the GSG/At 1911 .22 gun. Lately its been not doing so well and the having a lot of FTEs like shown in the pic. I have cleaned the gun but it persists. The ammo is aguila and i have shot quite a bit of thru the same gun before. Is this something to do with the ejector or could be some other cause. I have replaced the firing pin and steel rod/spring on this with aftermarket long time ago. Any thoughts on what to check ?
    Thanks

Did you clean all the crud away that acumulates under the extractor? Lots of times that build keeps the extractor from engaging the rim on the case enough to work correctly. Sometimes certain lots of ammo have slightly smaller rims too. First place would be crud under extractor though. If you already did that, be sure you installed all the extractor parts correctly.
There are some people that it's just not worth engaging.

It's a muzzle BRAKE, not a muzzle break. Or is your muzzle tired?

The extractor might be worn out with that many rounds through it. The are inexpensive guns, after all.

Blowback guns don't actually USE the extractor to pull the case out of the chamber.
The purpose of the extractor in most blowback guns is to extract live rounds.
Also, the extractor is there as a pivot point to make the spent case eject when the spent case finally reaches the ejector.
The interaction between the spent case striking the ejector while STILL being held into the slide or bolt by the extractor is what causes the case to pivot upwards/sideways and finally pop free from the extractor.

The thing to understand is that the case is pushing the slide/bolt.
The slide/bolt is NOT pulling the case.

Troubleshoot accordingly with your new knowledge of blowback operation.

If the case is extracting but not ejecting, you have a problem with the freedom of movement of the slide or the extractor.
Could be too much spring tension or friction from gunk or some new part that was changed out which is dragging (we are back to friction there).
