I friend of mine brought me a Tomcat in pieces to see if I could reassemble. I searched the web for how-to videos but none of them start with a completely disassembled gun. I've also tried to find a schematic but can only find a parts diagram. Does anyone have access to an exploded view schematic on this one?

Ya, I found that. What I'm looking for is something like this:

Watch a detail strip video starting from a fully assembled gun and note the order of disassembly.
The order of assembly will be the opposite.Randall Rausch

Good luck. Make sure you eat a full breakfast and take your vitamins before you try to put one of these back together. If the frame or the slide (cant remember which) take on a little wear where the recoil spring levers ride your hosed. I my experience they tend to self destruct when disassembled.
Send it to Beretta??
That is what I will do next time one comes across my bench. They have 5 gallon buckets full of new parts, the correct skills, and the fixtures to properly assemble them. Not that us mortals cant figure it out, we just dont get a second chance when sh*t goes south.Last edited by kendog4570; 02-25-2023, 3:44 PM.Comment

Just go slow and dont get frustrated. They are hard and difficult but there are bigger challenges in life. A couple of friends bought these kind of as a joke on a whim. They both shoot the crap out of them. I seem to have become the repair buy. I was going to get in on the fun until I realized that in my opinion they are not of typical Beretta quality and excellent design engineering. But my 2 buddies love them as little fun guns.Comment

The Bobcat should be very similar, here is a video that starts from almost a bare frame
