Help for Model 59 Trigger

2 questions:

1) I don't know much about the Model 59, just that mine has a horrible single action trigger. Is it feasible that a qualified gunsmith could do a "trigger job" on it? Lightening the pull is main concern.

2) If so, can anyone recommend a qualified gunsmith in the SF Bay Area?

One concern is parts aren't available for replacement if the smith were to make a mistake. Most 59's had poor heavy triggers. It should smooth out with shooting.

Yeah, there IS stuff available on Numrich but it's hit or miss.

I honestly don't know how many rounds this thing has through it. Old cop gun, so a lot of holster wear but who knows how many rounds they actually put through it.

When my dad got it, I'd guess we put a thousand rounds through it, and then xferred it to me. I've not shot it much since.
