    Set-Trigger Malfunction

    Gentlemen:
I have a Thompson-Center .54 Cal. Percussion Rifle, (Hawken Style), it has a Double Trigger of which one is the Set Trigger which is Malfunctioning.

I am requesting a referral to a knowledgeable source who can help me correct this issue.

I am in Long Beach and Bullhead City, AZ.

Thank you for any referral assistance.

Start by removing the lock-work and inspecting it. It's held in place by a screw on the left side of the stock. If you don't have the factory owners manual I can e-mail you a PDF copy. P.M. me with your e-mail address.

            UPDATE:

I found the problem and it was two loose screws in the trigger mechanism allowing the small part to not set off the trigger. I tightened the screws and it works like Jeremiah Johnson work be smiling on me for my persistence.

Thank you everyone how offered their help.

Good on you. Would you like a PDF of the owners manual?
