Where's the 10/30 AK conversion thread?

I just did a search and didn't find the thread about converting my 30 round AK mags to 10 rounds without buying a block from somebody. The block arrangement I've seen so far seems a little strange. Any help?

I'm pretty sure I saw a thread here using long thin machine bolts bent to match the curve of a 30 round mag. Is anybody making 10 rounders? I have a 74 and I don't see any 10 round 5.45X39 mags for sale. Help?

I have block kits for the 74. Thats the easiest way to make them. Just insert the block and epoxy the base. No screws or drilled parts to fail. I will have 74 10/30s shortly. The bent screw method was shown for a pmag I think in the centerfire section.

Can these work for AK-47 mags as well?

the most popular 10's for 47's are actually chinese 5's with crapco or cut followers. they do lack the cool banana look of a 10/30 but are really functional for shooting when no cameras are around. the really cool part is that most folks in other states don't really want them and they can be had for peanuts. (my last was $8, shipped)
