Large ring Mauser barrels

I've got two large ring Mauser sporter profile barrels. They are marked as being .270 caliber. The breech faces are marked "R" with some other squiggly mark on it.

Anyone have any ideas on who the original barrel maker was?

That style of barrel profile is reminiscent of Parker Hale barrels.

I have Parker Hale barrels, they are stamped 'Parler Hale', they will not fit anything that is Mauser. The Parker Hale barrel shank is larger in diameter than any receiver I have. I like that, the Parker4Hale barrel is cheaper than a barrel blank.

And then it got more confusing, it is said Parker Hale moved, and then moved again. The parts were sold and advertised as Mauser receivers with 03 bolts and a bolt stop that does not match anything but a rifle that was called a Leland. I have no interest in measuring the diameter and length of the shank.

For quite a while, PH rifles used Mauser 98 style parts. My 2 PH barrels are installed on Mauser 98 style receivers(one a Yugo in 243Win and one a standard 98 in 308Win). Later PH modified their receivers to take '03 bolts and changed the ejector/bolt stop, since they were running out of 98 parts. But both of my barrels are marked and have either a dovetail cut for a rear sight, or drilled and tapped for front and rear sights.
