Big, I have the stock removal tool, like a long screwdriver with a wrench attchd, u can`t change the buttstock without it.---------------------------

I do. I have the receiver wrench, stock tool, gas wrench, & the machine pins for determining headspace. I've built about a half dozen FALs.THIS SPACE FOR RENTComment

Actually, you can survive by placing the recoil tube nut over a .22 cleaning rod and using the rod to guide the spring into place in the recoil tube...once it's all stuffed in, use a screwdriver to tighten the nut a thread or 2. Remove the cleaning rod and fully tighten the nut. Not as easy as the correct tool, but it definitely works.

Judging by some PMs I've received regarding building FALs I'm starting to wonder if maybe we can get a FAL build party going. If not, I'd be happy to pay somebody with tools and experience to help me with some builds. I've talked to several calgunners in the past about building FALs and several have commented on how simple it is but when I asked about actual personal experience they got a little fuzzy and it was usually more like they know somebody that built some. As far as 922r requirements check this out.

To assemble a FAL you'll need to consider headspacing and a few other specialized tools like gas tube nut wrench, stock tool, locking shoulders. FAL's headspaces on locking shoulder and you'll need to find one with the size you need. You'll also need a set of headspacing guages.
If you really wants to assemble it yourself, put it together but don't shoot it. Have Entreprise check it over and headspace it for you. They're the experts.GCC
