BCM middy fsb removal

I'm going to remove the fsb from my BCM middy. Before I start beating the hell out of the taper pins, any definitive answers on which direction they come out? The last one I did (stag) was a nightmare because the pins came out opposite of what everything said was the norm.

That sucked.

Look at both sides. One side should have a larger head. On all I've done the drive out to the ejection port side. One word of caution-The BCM's seem to be
the toughest to get out. I would invest in some good penetrating oil/spray
and very good hammer and punch. Support the FSB. If they don't move after a few hard smacks, it's time for the propane torch

tight tolerances and I think they hydraulically press it in LOL...

Last thing you want to do is "tap" them into peening, too.

Be fast on that punch.
