That is NOT a standard thread that most gunsmiths are familiar with.
I do 49/64-20 threads under my "precision threading" services.

Threads are cut many different ways, some with dedicated tooling to a specific thread size and pitch and others with single point tooling which can cut any diameter and any pitch.
Single point is better and that's how I do all my threading.

Barrel, sight and trigger work on most pistols and shotguns.
      Most work performed while-you-wait.

          Yes.
It's always best to have the actual muzzle device to test thread fit.
I even prefer that when doing standard sized threads like 1/2-28 and 5/8-24 as there can be quite a bit of variation in how tight the threads are made by different muzzle device manufacturers.
I can optimize the threads I cut for a specific muzzle device when I have it to test the thread fit with.

Be sure to actually contact him first.
Perhaps you already made arrangements. Just in case someone reads this later, it's always better to communicate before sending parts to most shops.

There are some people that it's just not worth engaging.

It's a muzzle BRAKE, not a muzzle break. Or is your muzzle tired?

Cool. I know at my place (not firearm related), sometimes people just send stuff or show up without calling. Makes life harder.

FedEx says it should be there on Thurs. Its coming from Higher Power Outfitters, but please use my return address that is on the invoice.

I ended up having my local FFL ship it because the UPS location had a fit. I know, I know....perfectly legal but they said, and I quote "If we declare anything with 'firearm, rifle etc' UPS will open it up and inspect it." They tried to get me to declare it as something else IE Broom or baseball bat, but I know how that would go if they lost it and I tried to collect the insurance. UPS really needs to train the local people how to ship guns and gun parts.
