Polymer guide rod is just fine and good to go. No need to waste your money. I thought the same thing when I got my SP-01 and 75D Compact PCR, and was like, what the heck is this flimsy piece of junk? But both guns are lights out, dead-on accurate with that polymer guide rod, so, at least in my opinion, no need to replace them.

I was most impressed with the PCR given it's smaller size, lighter weight and heavy DA trigger pull, but DAMN is that DA trigger pull smooth and that pistol is so fun to shoot!

If you want the cheapest way to reduce the pull you can buy the springs separately, or for a little more just order the $30 spring package from Cajun. I think the stock hammer spring is like 18#, and the Cajun kit comes with a 13# spring?

I shot the PCR for the first time today and was planning on replacing the springs and have a kit on order, but after the way it shot today I'm just going to keep it stock for my upcoming CCW class.

Here's a link to the Cajun Gun Works spring kit: https://cajungunworks.com/product/75...de-spring-kit/

Mcarbo is a good company with quality parts. I've bought guide rods and trigger kits from Mcarbo for my Beretta 92, CZ Sp-01, and Sig P238.
