When I do a glock trigger job, I add an overtravel stop to the trigger housing to stop the overtravel of the trigger bar.

I just noticed this reply. Are you referring to the shelf on the trigger housing in which some insert a pin to minimize the over travel?

You drill and tap the trigger housing to install a set screw that limits the movement of the trigger bar.

I use a setscrew so it's adjustable.
A pin would be much more troublesome to adjust.

He may be confusing the pre-travel roll pin mod that some people also do to the housing. I have done some of those too but if you want a safe gun, you need to reprofile the hump in the trigger bar to push up the firing pin safety later in the travel, and you need to trim the tab safety on the trigger a bit.

I have put a setscrew in front as well and re-timed the firing pin safety.
