2 of my last 3 attempts were out of state.. just looking for a reputable 1911 smith that can and will take on the work.. FedEx will do the rest.

Perhaps you can clarify what you mean with this specific statement then:

Need complete top end fitted/ machined.

Typical fitting for a complete 1911 top end starts with the slide to the frame.
Then you can fit the bushing to the slide, the barrel to the bushing, slide and the slide stop.
Then you chamber and throat the barrel.
Then you do the firing pin stop, extractor and ejector.

That's the functional fitting work that effects feeding, firing, extraction and ejection.

Serrations; scallop, sights..

The work you are also mentioning is outside work and is not critical to feeding, firing, extraction and ejection.

I found what I was looking for.. and will leave this thread here so if someone searches later, hopefully it will help.

So who did you go with? The only people mentioned (aside from Randall) are DSC and Cifaldli.
