    Parkerizing question

I need to parkerize my 1919 and cannot find a large enough container without having to use gallons and gallons of park solution. Can I parkerize one end and then flip it over and do the other unexposed side? Will this creat a uneven finish?

Yes, the finish will look uneven. I did this to the last rifle I parked where I had to flip it a few times to hit everything and the finish was slightly off.

I asked the same question. You can take it apart and park it separately.
          Field strip/barrel disassembly
          Remove barrel shroud

If you pull the barrel shroud you can use buffet tray's like I did. It still takes about 3 gallons of solution.

Yeah, my barrel shroud was sodered on so wasn't coming off easily. Removed it today with a propane torch so I can use a smaller tank. I saw some cheap stainless steel buffet trays for cheap on ebay that may fit.
