    RIA m1911 CS breaking ejector

Having a problem with this smaller size 1911

While back I bought it from another member
Second time out , chips end off ejector
I order the correct Wilson Combat replacement

Now 6 months later .. Breaks another one
Called Wilson Combat , they said it is not uncommon with that model
    Ordered another ...also Extractor

    Any thoughts ......

For what it's worth, I have two of the RIA officer sized 1911s, though both wear commander sized slides and one was converted to 9mm. I've never encountered the problem you describe despite several thousand rounds in each.

I'll try another one and see what happens and if it breaks again...

      I'll contact RIA

From my experience, ria is pretty good with warranty items. I had a a1fs that was having issues nosediving. They sent me a label, had their gunsmith look at it and sent it back pretty quick. Instead of buying another one, I'd just contact them.
